Topic of the Day: Transportation

 Today we visited the car and history museum of Villafranca in two groups, first Manu´s Megas and Andrea´s Avatars, and then the Jerry Neutrons and Jillian´s Joules. The museum provided a guided tour in English, and the students paid extra attention because of the Trivia Challenge planned as a night activity. 
























In the evening, after dinner, we had a fun quiz called Trivia Challenge where the scientists, organized into sports teams, had to answer science, general and critical thinking questions. They also tried their hand at a fun guessing game. Here is a video of some of the counselors practicing for it:

Tuesday July 6 - Topic of the Day: Balance and Juggling!

  Good evening to the families of our students!   Today we followed a schedule that is very similar to yesterday’s, but this morning our students had their first language and culture classes with their Team Leaders. The Team Leaders taught their students about topics that interest them as a way to teach English.   Today’s topic was Balance and Juggling. Our students made their own juggling balls from rice and balloons. They also used other materials that they made on their own or that were provided by Garci. Each team created their own circus performance using what they made as part of our daily challenge. Ultimately, Andrea’s Avatars were the winners of the challenge today!  Students continued with the same mandatory and elective workshops as yesterday. Final Performance, Saturday, July 17th

 After showing the parents around the school, classrooms and eco-village, we finally headed to the Final Performance.
