Tuesday July 6 - Topic of the Day: Balance and Juggling!

Good evening to the families of our students!

Today we followed a schedule that is very similar to yesterday’s, but this morning our students had their first language and culture classes with their Team Leaders. The Team Leaders taught their students about topics that interest them as a way to teach English.

Today’s topic was Balance and Juggling. Our students made their own juggling balls from rice and balloons. They also used other materials that they made on their own or that were provided by Garci. Each team created their own circus performance using what they made as part of our daily challenge. Ultimately, Andrea’s Avatars were the winners of the challenge today!

Students continued with the same mandatory and elective workshops as yesterday. Here you can see students playing volleyball and games on the field as elective workshops, and Manu’s Mega’s doing the Bridge Building workshop with Manu!

The students had the opportunity to watch the Spain vs. Italy match tonight, but unfortunately it was time for bed before they could finish the game. The students went to bed with a lot of excitement about the game and the great day they had!
