Wednesday July 7 - Topic of the Day: Gravity and Flight!

Hello families of our little scientists!!!

Today our scientists had a full day of activities!

The topic of the day was gravity and flight. Our scientists learned the importance of gravity, as well as how it works. They were also taught how airplanes are able to fly. The kids proceeded to attempt to create their own airplanes, parachutes and kites. Then groups the proceeded to have a friendly competition between each other which resulted in Manu´s Megas winning todays competitions.

All our scientists, big and small, had to make airplanes, parachutes, and/or kites.

The scientists of Jillians Joules were with Manu and Andrea who taught them how to build a DaVinci bridge, which involved only using the wooden sticks and physics this allows the bridge to stay up right.

The scientists from Manu´s Megas were able to make bread from scratch in "Chemistry of the kitchen" with Jillian. It turned out delicious!

The scientists from Jerry Neutron were able to experiment with a 3D printer, as well as create their own individual objects with Garci.

The scientists from Andrea's Avatars were able to fly a drone and race between each other with Jerry.
